Each year during Christmas festive a lot of companies spend loads and loads of money in organizing a memorable party for their staff and families. Many event organizers charge exorbitantly just to arrange for a party that takes just a few hours. Companies do not have to break a bank to have a party. There are several ways of how a party can be organized with little effort and within the budget. Firstly, it is important to note down all the important steps that are necessary.
Christmas is a celebration time, but it is also necessary to think of the other members of staff whose faith and religion are different from the majority. There are countries where no Christmas celebrations are held. Respect each others beliefs and do not go overboard. Find out from those who do not share the same faith what their preference would be. Respect their wishes and stick to it. Since this is a time of celebration, limit the amount of free alcoholic drinks.
Free drinks have spoilt some of the most excellent parties. Identify and hold the party at a central place. Organize transport incase some members are unable to drive back home. State clearly at the time of invitation if this is a staff party or family members are included. If family members are included how many members of a family can attend? It is also imperative to state the dressing code whether it is formal wear or casual. This will save the organization a lot of embarrassment.
If there are tokens or gifts, these should be appropriate and organized way before the occasion. It is important to have a list and confirm the number of attendees to avoid embarrassment. With a clear number of attendees, it possible to decide the right facility that is able to hold the correct number of people who have confirmed their attendance. Do not assume that since it is an office function everybody will attend. Call a day or two earlier to confirm and give more directions to those who are not sure of how to reach the venue.
